**OCTOBER EDITION**

If you are looking for something happening in our brewpub at the end of the month is Halloween. On that day we have a fun kids package for the first 50 kids meals purchased to take home with them. Therefore, start trick or treating off right with a visit to Hoppy and get a Hoppy Trick or Treat bag with some goodies to get the evening started. Offer valid with each kids meal purchased… 😉

Due up November 01st is the annual return of the Hoppy Claus™ Holiday Ale!!! Yes folks…at this point you only have 85 shopping days left until Christmas… Hop to it! With that being said, the economy is continuing to improve, since Hoppy is already ahead of last years holiday reservations. Therefore, be proactive and make those holiday reservations now before it is too late… 😉

Also, if you happen to be back east, or know of someone who lives back there, there is some quiet expansion going on at Hoppy these days, and those living east of the Continental Divide should check with Mr. Patterson scott@hoppy.com to see if they will be getting a Hoppy Holiday present this year. Stay tuned for more details as they develop, and make sure to ask your retailer for some Hoppy Claus™…

Finally, for those of you who need a little reminder from time-to-time, Daylight Savings Time comes to an end on Sunday, November 02nd. Therefore, remember before you go to bed on Saturday night to “Fall Back” and set your clocks back an hour and enjoy that “extra” hour of sleep, plus make sure to not let those bed bugs bite… 😉

*** HOLIDAY ALERT ***
With Summer fading fast, school in session, and (believe it or not) Christmas decorations already showing up in the stores (whatever happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving???), we just wanted to remind you that we will be open for a special Thanksgiving meal next month. Therefore, plan early and make your reservation now by calling 916.451.4677.

Hoppy’s kitchen will be open with “special” holiday hours from 11:00am until 7:30pm for those people whom have guests in town and do not feel like cooking a BIG afternoon feast, or just want to enjoy the day out – relax and let us do the cooking for you – plus we will even do the dishes after you leave… 😉

In addition, if you participate in the local Run to Feed the Hungry on Thanksgiving Day, just bring in your BIB Number and exchange it for a tasty pint of Hoppy brew during Thanksgiving weekend. Hoppy’s little way of helping to support Sacramento Food Bank Services.

Lastly, for those that are football challenged, the games on TV that day will be the Chicago Bears visiting the Detroit Lions at 9:30am on CBS, the Philadelphia Eagles will be visiting the Dallas Cowboys at 1:30pm on FOX, and then followed by the Seattle Seahawks at the San Francisco on NBC at 5:30pm.
